To address all these challenges, ISIC has set up a comprehensive urological and sexual health care under the guidance of a dedicated neurourologist. Dr. Dinesh Suman and his team will provide holistic urological and sexual health care for patients with spinal cord injuries and other neurological conditions, under one roof. Dr. Suman said, “Since our SCI patients already are burdened with so many personal, financial and logistics issues, our aim is to eliminate the need to visit multiple healthcare providers and ensure that their holistic urinary and sexual health concerns are effectively addressed under one roof. We place priority on improving lives through education and engagement. We place emphasis on the established principles of “Prevention, Preemption and Prompt care” aiming to maintain good health and avoid preventable complications with timely intervention and proactive measures.” Ms. Sugandh Ahluwalia, Chief Strategy Officer at ISIC, added, “Dr. Dinesh Suman, and his skilled team, bring over two decades of experience and a deep understanding of how spinal cord injuries can adversely affect a patient’s urinary system and sexual health.
