Ms. Ankita Chawla,          (MA (Psychology)

Ankita Chawla, is a multi-talented personality, whose passion and interests span from psychology, education, instructional design to philosophy. She is an avid reader and fond of plants and pets.

She is a quiet keen observer, who is always trying to figure out innovative solutions to the common problems she sees around, especially using the tools of education and technology.

Soon after her initial stint at the Indian spinal injury centre, at New Delhi, while dealing with the plight of the spinal cord injury patients and their neglected urological, bowel and sexuality concerns, she decided to find a way to reach out to them. She teamed up with Dr Dinesh Suman at the urology department to develop educational tools for change and distance support to the millions of spinal cord disease persons across the country.

After her initial outreach program, “Pearls of Wisdom-daily dose”at the social media platform,  whatsapp broadcast to the SCI persons, was hugely successful, she has decided to upscale it with a website where the educational material shall be made easily accessible in an audio-visual, easy to understandable form, free of cost, by anyone, from anywhere. She hopes that the website will provide a revolutionary step forward. It will highlight the life- long urological care needs of these people and support the neglected SCI community, living in the far flung areas of our vast country.

She believes education coupled with technology is the way forward to deal with multitude of health concerns of people in our country.
